    WHAT IS CYTAX INJECTION?

    USES OF CYTAX INJECTION:

    Cytax Injection is used for Breast cancer, ovarian cancer, advanced non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, Aids-related cancer cells, Patients non-responsive to anthracycline-based therapies and other conditions. Cytax Injection may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

    Cytax Injection contains Paclitaxel as an active ingredient.

    Cytax Injection works by stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body.

    POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

    The most commonly reported side-effects of Cytax Injection are nausea, bleeding, loss of sensation in limbs, mild changes in skin or nails, inflammation or sores of the inside area of mouth, and low production of blood cells in bone marrow.

    COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:

    Cytax 260 MG Injection is a type of irritant that may cause an inflammation of your vein through which it is being given. Other side effects or reactions that you may experience on taking Cytax 260 MG Injection are nausea, vomiting tendency, hair loss, diarrhea, hypersensitivity, mucositis, skin rash, flushing, blurred vision, numbness, dizziness, fever, paleness, difficulty in breathing,cough, sweating, slow or irregular heartbeat and chest pain.

    ABOUT CYTOPLATIN

    Cytoplatin 50 MG Infusion is
    an anticancer agent which is used in the treatment of various cancers of the
    bladder, male and female reproductive system. It should be taken under the
    precriptions of well qualified Doctor. Close monitoring of kidney function and
    blood cell count are necessary while receiving this medication. Cytoplatin 50mg
    Injection works by inhibiting the growth of cancerous cells.


    CYTOPLATIN USES:

    Cipla
    Cisplatin Injection is used for the treatment of Bladder cancer, Testicular
    cancer, ovarian cancer. It destroys the DNA of the cancerous cell and stop them
    to develop their growth.

     

    CISPLATIN SIDE EFFECTS:

    Tell your doctor right away
    if you have any serious side effects, including:

    Decreased sense
    of taste; tired feeling; temporary hair loss; or pain, swelling, burning, or
    irritation around the IV needle.

    Pain/burning/redness
    at the injection site, numbness/tingling/coldness/blue discoloration of the
    hands or feet, loss of reflexes, loss of balance, trouble walking, muscle
    Cramps/spasms/weakness, neck or back pain, mouth or tongue sores.

    Joint pain,
    swollen legs or feet, mental/mood changes, headache, fast/irregular heartbeat,
    blood in urine, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, black or bloody stools,
    painful or difficult urination, lower back or side pain, vision changes.

    Cisplatin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to
    carboplatin; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain
    inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.

    Before using this
    medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of:
    kidney disease, decreased bone marrow function/blood cell disorders (e.g.,
    anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia), hearing problems, mineral imbalance (low
    blood levels of sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphate),
    numbness/tingling of the hands/feet, kidney stones, gout.

    ·        
    This drug is not
    recommended for use during pregnancy. It may cause harm to an unborn baby.
    Women of childbearing age should use reliable form(s) of birth control during
    treatment with this drug and for some time afterwards. Consult your doctor for
    more details.

    ·        
    This drug passes
    into breast milk. Because of the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding
    while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before
    breast-feeding.

    ·        
    This medication
    can affect sperm production in men. Therefore, men should use a reliable form
    of birth control during treatment and for some time afterwards. Consult your
    doctor for more details.

    DRUG INTERACTIONS :

     

    Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT
    with Cytoplatin. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other
    medicines, especially any of the following:

     

    ·        
    Palifermin
    because the risk of increased severity and duration of mouth or tongue sores
    may be increased

    ·        
    Medicines that
    may harm the kidney (eg, aminoglycoside antibiotics [eg, gentamicin],
    amphotericin B, cyclosporine, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs [NSAIDs]
    [eg, ibuprofen], tacrolimus, vancomycin) because the risk of kidney side
    effects may be increased. Ask your doctor if you are unsure if any of your
    medicines might harm the kidney.

    Bleomycin,
    iodine-containing radiopaque agents, or methotrexate because the risk of side
    effects may be increased

    ·        
    Ondansetron
    because it may decrease Cisplatin’s effectiveness.

    Carbamazepine,
    hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), or valproic acid because their effectiveness may be
    decreased by Cisplatin.

    WHAT IS DACAREX?


    Dacarex is an antineoplastic agent. It
    is a cancer chemotherapy drug that is used alone or with other
    medications to slow or stop cancer cell growth.

    MEDICINE USES :


    Dacarbazine is used for treating certain types of cancer, such as skin cancer that has spread (metastatic malignant melanoma).

    DACARBAZINE COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :


    Facial flushing, numbness, or tingling; loss of appetite; metallic
    taste in mouth; muscle pain or weakness; nausea; temporary hair loss;
    vomiting.

    Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:

    Severe
    allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the
    chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); dark urine;
    fever, chills, or sore throat; joint pain; pain, redness, or swelling at
    injection site; severe nausea and vomiting; stomach pain; unusual
    bruising or bleeding; unusual tiredness or weakness; yellowing of skin
    or eyes.

    SAFETY INFORMATION (Precautions) for DACAREX DACARBAZINE INJECTION :


    • Dacarex may lower your body’s ability to fight infection. Prevent
      infection by avoiding contact with people with colds or other
      infections. Notify your doctor of any signs of infection, including
      fever, sore throat, rashes, or chills.
    • Dacarex may reduce the number of clot-forming cells (platelets) in
      your blood. To prevent bleeding, avoid situations in which bruising or
      injury may occur. Report any unusual bleeding, bruising, blood in
      stools, or dark, tarry stools to your doctor.
    • Use of Dacarex may increase the risk of developing a second cancer. Discuss any questions or concerns with your doctor.
    • Avoid vaccination with live virus vaccines (eg, measles, mumps, oral
      polio) while you are taking Dacarbazine. Vaccinations may be less
      effective.
    • LAB TESTS, including blood cell counts and liver
      function tests, may be performed to monitor your progress or to check
      for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
    • PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become
      pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using
      Dacarbazine during pregnancy. It is unknown if this medicine is excreted
      in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Dacarbazine.

    WHAT IS DACIHEP 60 MG TABLETS ?

    DACIHEP (Daclatasvir) is an antiviral medicine that prevents hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body.

    DACIHEP USES :

    Daclatasvir is used with another antiviral medication (sofosbuvir) to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. These medications together reduce the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which helps your immune system fight the infection and may help your liver recover. Chronic hepatitis C infection can cause serious liver problems such as scarring (cirrhosis), or liver cancer.

    DACIHEP COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

    Tiredness, headache, nausea, or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

    A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

        It is unknown if daclatasvir passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Breast-feeding is not recommended if daclatasvir is used in combination with ribavirin.

    DACIHEP INTERACTIONS :

    Amiodarone may interact with sofosbuvir. Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking amiodarone.

    Other medications can affect the removal of daclatasvir from your body, which may affect how daclatasvir works. Examples include rifampin, St. John’s wort, drugs used to treat seizures (such as carbamazepine, phenytoin), among others.
