WHAT IS SEBIVO 600 MG TABLET? 

Sebivo 600 Mg Tablet is a type of antiviral drug that is used to treat hepatitis B infection. It is a synthetic thymidine that works by impairing the DNA replication of hepatitis B virus.

Telbivudine belongs to a group of medications known as antivirals.

USES OF SEBIVO TABLETS:

Sebivo 600 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of HIV infection and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:  

You should not take Sebivo 600 Mg Tablet if you have high levels of lactic acid in your blood, or an enlarged liver or allergic to the medicine or any ingredient used in it. It is recommended that you consult a doctor before taking Sebivo 600 Mg Tablet if you are pregnant, plan on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding, taking any medication or supplements, have undergone liver transplant, or had muscle or nerve problems in the past, if you are overweight, have been diagnosed with any other type of hepatitis, kidney problems, or have been receiving dialysis. 

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE: 

Sebivo 600 Mg Tablet includes cough, back pain, dizziness, diarrhoea, joint pain, headache, nausea, tiredness, pain in stomach, sore throat, or trouble in sleeping. If any of these effects become bothersome or continue for prolonged periods then you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

Sebivo are Fatigue, Headache, Nausea, Decreased appetite, Indigestion, Fever, Feeling of discomfort, Dizziness, Muscle pain, Joint pain, Abdominal distension, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Rash, Back pain, Liver damage. 

DRUGS INTERACTIONS: 

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sebivo 600 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time

Sebivo 600 mg Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.

Sebivo 600 Mg Tablet is available as tablets of strength 600 mg, which are to be taken orally. You have to take it once every day, with or without food, but it is advised that you consult your doctor regarding the appropriate dosage.

DRUGS PRECAUTIONS: 

Do consult your doctor if you have a kidney problem, liver transplant or have liver cirrhosis.

Contact your doctor immediately in case of persistent unexplained muscle pain, joint pain, weakness, numbness/tingling in arms and legs.

MEDICATION STORAGE REQUIREMENTS :

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

Beta blockers, Chlortetracycline, Cimetidine, Delavirdine, Demeclocycline, Efavirenz, Ergonovine, Frovatriptan, Haloperidol, Ketoconazole, Macrolide antibiotics, Methyldopa, Metoclopramide, Metoprolol, Nitrates, Octreotide, Pimozide, Reserpine, Sumatriptan, Telithromycin, Tetracycline

WHAT IS SOFOSBUVIR 400 MG ?

Sofosbuvir is an antiviral medication that prevents hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. This drug is a prescription drug. It’s available as an oral tablet.

SOFOSBUVIR USES :

Sofosbuvir 400 mg is used with other antiviral medications (such as ribavirin, peginterferon, daclatasvir) to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. It works by reducing the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which may help your liver recover.

SOFAB 400 MG COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

Tiredness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, itchy skin, difficulty sleeping, or irritability may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: signs of low red blood cell count (such as unusual tiredness, rapid breathing, pale skin, shortness of breath, fast heartbeat).

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

MEDICINE SAFETY INFORMATION :

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease.

Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Sofab, in combination with ribavirin or peginterferon, must not be used during pregnancy by either the pregnant woman or her male partner. The combination may harm an unborn baby. Two reliable forms of birth control (such as condoms, birth control pills) must be used whenever at least one sexual partner is using these medicines together, and for six months after stopping treatment. If you or your partner becomes pregnant, or if you think you or your partner may be pregnant, tell your doctor right away.

It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using Sofab, in combination with ribavirin or peginterferon, is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Store below 30°C (86°F). Dispense only in original container.

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

A product that may interact with this drug is: amiodarone.

Other medications can affect the removal of Sofosbuvir from your body, which may affect how this medicine works. Examples include rifamycins (such as rifampin, rifabutin), St. John’s wort, tipranavir/ritonavir, drugs used to treat seizures (such as carbamazepine, phenytoin), among others.

Do not take this medication with other products that contain Sofosbuvir.
