  • Resof L Sofosbuvir Ledipasvir Tablets Dr. Reddy

Resof L Sofosbuvir Ledipasvir Tablets Dr. Reddy

    WHAT IS RESOF L ?

RESOF L is a combination of two hepatitis C virus (HCV) antiviral drugs in a single form. Each single tablet contains ledipasvir and sofosbuvir.

    MEDICINAL USES :

RESOF L is a combination of ledipasvir and sofosbuvir and is used to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. It may sometimes be used with another antiviral medication (ribavirin). These drugs work by reducing the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which helps your immune system fight the infection and may help your liver recover.

RESOF L COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

Tiredness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, or difficulty sleeping may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

    Resof Tablets Sofosbuvir 400mg

What is Resof 400 mg Tablet?

Resof 400 mg tablet from Dr. Reddy is a generic version. It is a prescription drug that contains Sofosbuvir for oral administration. This HCV medication should be used under proper medical guidance and advice. Do not share the medicine with others, since they may be suffering from a problem that is not effectively treated by this drug.

What is the use of Resof Sofosbuvir Tablet?

Sofosbuvir (Resof) belongs to the class of medications called antivirals. It is used with other antiviral medications to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver.

How Does Resof Sofosbuvir Tablet Work?

Sofosbuvir is a nucleotide analog inhibitor. Resof (Sofosbuvir) works by blocking the action of an enzyme called NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase in the hepatitis C virus, which is essential for the virus to multiply. This stops the hepatitis C virus from multiplying, which lowers the amount of hepatitis C virus in the liver. This helps to reduce liver damage and improves liver function.
