WHAT IS ERYCIN 500 mg TABLET ?

Erycin belongs to group of drugs known as macrolide antibiotics, which work by stopping bacteria from making proteins that they need to survive and function properly.

MEDICINE USES :

Erythromycin is used to treat or prevent many different types of infections caused by bacteria.

CIPLA ERYTHROMYCIN COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

    mild diarrhea; or
    nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite.

Call your doctor at once if you have:

    diarrhea that is watery or bloody;
    headache with chest pain and severe dizziness, fainting, fast or pounding heartbeats;
    hearing problems (rare);
    liver problems–nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, tired feeling, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes); or
    severe skin reaction–fever, sore throat, swelling in your face or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in the face or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.

SAFETY INFORMATION (Precautions) for ERYCIN ERYTHROMYCIN TABLETS :

    Before taking Erythromycin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other macrolide antibiotics (such as azithromycin, clarithromycin); or if you have any other allergies.
    Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, a certain type of muscle disease (myasthenia gravis).
    Erythromycin may cause a condition that affects the heart rhythm (QT prolongation). QT prolongation can rarely cause serious (rarely fatal) fast/irregular heartbeat and other symptoms (such as severe dizziness, fainting) that need medical attention right away.
    Erythromycin may cause live bacterial vaccines (such as typhoid vaccine) not to work as well. Therefore, do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication without the consent of your doctor.
    Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).
    Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication.
    This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

    antiviral medicine (drugs to treat hepatitis, or HIV/AIDS);
    antifungal medicine;
    any other antibiotic medicines;
    cancer medicine;
    drugs that lower cholesterol or triglycerides;
    drugs to treat or prevent malaria;
    drugs to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension;
    heart or blood pressure medication;
    medicine to prevent organ transplant rejection; or
    medicine to treat depression or mental illness.

WHAT IS EUGRAF GEL?

Eugraf 60mcg/gm Gel works by releasing a growth factor that causes skin regeneration in diabetic foot ulcer.

MEDICINE USES:

Eugraf 60mcg/gm Gel is
used in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

Use this medicine in the
dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions
before use. Apply it on the affected area and allow it to stay before spitting
or rinsing.

EUGRAF COMMON SIDE EFFECT:

A side effect of any drug
can be defined as the unwanted or undesired effect produced by the drug. The
side effect can be major or in few medications minor that can be ignored. Side
effects not only vary from drug to drug, but it also depends on the dose of the
drug, the individual sensitivity of the person, brand or company which
manufactures it. If side effects overweight the actual effect of the medicine,
it may be difficult to convince the patient to take the drug. Few patients get
specific side effects to specific drugs; in that case, a doctor replaces the
drug with another. If you feel any side effect and it troubles you, do not
forget to share with your healthcare practitioner.

EUGRAF GEL-DRUG PRECAUTIONS:

Before using Eugraf
Cream, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the
counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies,
pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming
surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the
side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the
direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition.
Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling
points are listed below.

Do not take by mouth.
Consult with your doctor before using this medicine on open wounds, dry,
chapped, irritated, or sun-burned skin.

Wash your hands before and
after applying Eugraf Cream. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated.

Do not wash the treated
area after immediately applying Eugraf Cream. Also avoid the use of other
products on the treated area unless directed by your doctor.

Applying an excessive
amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or lesser quantity of medicine
to avoid pilling.

Avoid getting this
medication in your eyes or nose or mouth.

EUGRAF GEL- DRUG INTERACTIONS:

An indication is a term
used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is
prescribed or used by the patient. For example, acetaminophen or paracetamol is
used for fever by the patient, or the doctor prescribes it for a headache or
body pains. Now fever, headache and body pains are the indications of
paracetamol. A patient should be aware of the indications of medications used
for common conditions because they can be taken over the counter in the
pharmacy meaning without prescription by the Physician.

WHAT IS EVERMIL TABLETS?

Everolimus is a targeted therapy and is classified as an mTOR inhibitor. Everolimus lowers your body’s immune system. The immune system helps your body fight infections. The immune system can also fight or “reject” a transplanted organ such as a liver or kidney. This is because the immune system treats the new organ as an invader.

USES OF EVERMIL TABLETS:

Everolimus Is used For treatment of advanced renal cell cancer, after sunitinib and sorafenib treatment failure. Advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, treatment of advanced hormone receptor positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in post menopausal women, after letrozole or anastrozole treatment failure.  Treatment of adult patients with certain types of neuroendocrine tumors (NET) of gastrointestinal (GI) or lung origin with unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic disease.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

EVEROLIMUS can cause a blood clot in the blood vessels of your transplanted organ, especially within 30 days after transplant. Tell your doctor right away if you have: shortness of breath, fever with nausea or vomiting, blood in your urine, dark colored urine, little or no urinating, jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes), or pain in your stomach, groin, lower back, or side.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:

Some side effects may include infection with symptoms like sore throat, chills, fever, frequent and painful urination, or unusual itching, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, unusual growths or lumps and swollen lymph nodes.

swelling in your legs, ankles, or feet; diarrhea, constipation; or mild stomach discomfort.

DRUGS PRECAUTIONS:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Evermil 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Evermil 5 mg Tablet suppresses the activity of body’s immune system and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ.

DRUGS INTERACTIONS:

Do not start everolimus and consult your doctor if you have liver problems, diabetes, high blood cholesterol, had a recent surgery or have unhealed wound after surgery, have infection, previously had hepatitis, are pregnant or breast-feeding or have intolerance to some sugars.

Seek medical advice if you have increased thirst or increased frequency of urination, if you get any infection, suffer from shortness of breath, cough or fever, need to receive any vaccination after taking everolimus.

Everolimus may affect male or female fertility; consult your doctor if you are planning to have a child.

Do not drive or operate machinery while taking everolimus as it may cause fatigue.
